Hospice of the Sacred Heart recently received a grant for $2,000 from the Scranton Area Community Foundation to support the 2019 Lunch & Learn program. The monthly series is a free information session accompanied by lunch and is held at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Center for Education in Moosic.
Local non-profit organizations are invited to introduce their programs and services to a group of community members. Lunch is served before the program and a question and answer session follows each presentation. This is the second year Hospice of the Sacred Heart has made this program available to area non-profits.
“This is an excellent setting for local non-profit organizations to showcase their programs and services to a cross section of attentive community members. The information is free and so is lunch,” said Diane Baldi,CEO, Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
